My steps aren't turning into quarters
Step Arcade reads your steps from Apple Health. On your iPhone, open Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → Step Arcade, and make sure Steps is turned on. Then reopen the app.
Privacy policy
Last updated: November 2, 2026
Step Arcade is a game that turns the steps you walk into quarters you can play with. We built it to collect as little as possible. The short version: your step data stays on your iPhone, we never sell it, and we never use it for advertising.
What the app reads
- Step count from Apple Health. With your permission, the app reads your daily step totals so it can turn every 1,000 steps into a quarter. It reads steps only. It does not read any other health data, and it never writes to Apple Health.
Where your data goes
- Your step data and your game progress are stored only on your iPhone.
- We don't run accounts or servers that receive your step data, and we don't share it with anyone.
- Health data is never used for advertising or marketing, and never sold. Apple's rules forbid that too.
- If you use Game Center leaderboards, your Game Center name and scores are handled by Apple under Apple's privacy policy. Step data is never sent to Game Center; only game scores are.
What we don't do
- No advertising in this version of the app, and no tracking across other apps or websites.
- No analytics that identify you.
- No selling or renting of any data.
Children
Step Arcade is rated for ages 13 and up. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices
You can turn off the app's access to your steps at any time in Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices. Deleting the app removes all game data stored on your device.
Changes
If we add features that change what we collect (for example, optional ads in a later version), we'll update this page and the date above before that version ships, and the App Store privacy label will match.
